About Guest Room

Q:About check-in and check-out

Check-in time is from 15:00 to 18:00, and check-out time is 10:00.

Q:About late check-out

You can extend your stay up to 11:00 am. An extension fee of 3,300 yen per room will be charged.

Q:How’s the view from your room?

You can see the Hakone Inner Rim and Mount Yusaka facing the inn.

Q:Can I see the river from my room?

Because the inn is located on a hill, you cannot see the Hayakawa River, but you can hear the murmur of the river.

Q:Do you have a hot spring bath in your room?

Yes, all of the baths in our guest rooms use hot spring water. Please enjoy the hot spring water drawn from 300 meters below the surface in your room.

Q:About the washing place of the guest room with an open-air bath

The room with a hot spring bath has a washing place. Shower faucet, shampoo, treatment and body soap are also available.

Q:Do you have non-smoking rooms?

All rooms are entirely non-smoking from September 2023. Please use the ashtray available at the entrance.

Q:Is it possible to check in early?

If your room is ready, you can check in a little earlier.

Q:Is it possible to check in late?

For reservations with dinner, check-in is required by 18:00.

Q:Food restrictions and allergies

We will do our best to accommodate you, so please let us know at least two days in advance. Please include the number of people and the breakdown (adults, children, etc.) when you fill out the reservation form.

Q:What time does breakfast start?

You can choose from 8:00 or 8:30. If you have an early departure, we will be ready for you at 7:30.

Q:What is the breakfast menu?

Breakfast is a Japanese set meal.

Q:What time does dinner start?

You can choose from 18:00 and 18:30. Please note that depending on your arrival time, dinner may be served as soon as you arrive.

Q:What kind of alcohol is available in the bar?

A variety of draft beer, shochu, sake, wine, champagne, and plum wine are available.

Q:Hours of operation of the bar

The restaurant is open from 15:00 to 23:00 (last order at 22:30).

About Onsen

Q:About the use of the private bath (Keiko no Notenburouro) of our ryokan.

Available hours: 15:00 to 24:00. 45 minutes per couple (free of charge). 8 groups per day. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that we may not be able to accept late arrivals.

Q:Do you have a large bathroom? What are the hours of operation?

Yes, there are four baths in the hotel (three open-air baths and one indoor bath). The curtain for the men’s and women’s baths changes according to the time of each bath. The hours of operation are from 15:00 to 24:00 and from 6:00 to 9:30.

Q:Can I use the public bath before check-in or after check-out?

No, it is not available for use. You can use the public bath only during your stay (after check-in and before check-out).

Q:Are the bathrooms barrier-free?

It is not barrier-free.

Q:Is the public bath a hot spring?

Yes, it is a hot spring. Some of the water is circulated and filtered for temperature control.

Q:Regarding quality of public hot spring bath and guests room’s open air bath

It is a simple thermal hot spring with weak alkanity

Q:Do you have towels in the bathrooms?

There are no towels available in the public bath. Please bring your own bath towels and face towels from your room.

Q:Are there shampoo, conditioner, body soap, etc. in the bathrooms?

The following items are available in the large bathrooms. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, lotion, milky lotion, makeup remover

Q:Are pregnant women allowed in the bathhouse?

Yes, you can use it. The floor is slippery due to the hot spring water, so please be careful. Also please refrain from taking a long bath.

Q:I have tattoos and tattoos, can I take a bath in the bathhouse?

Yes, it is available.

Q:Can I drink the hot spring water?

We are sorry, but you cannot drink our hot spring water.

Q:For customers coming by car

The width of the suspension bridge along is 3 meters, so you can drive across it. Mercedes-Benz GLS, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and Range Rover are allowed to cross the bridge. Car with lower body such as Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and other vehicles will be moved to the second parking lot.

Q:For guests with disabilities

The hotel is a wooden structure built on the slope of a mountain. There are no elevators in the building. There are stairs throughout the building. There are also stairs to go up and down when moving from your room to the main bath. Please be aware of this before making a reservation.

Free Wi-Fi access is available in all guest rooms and throughout the hotel.
